Kabelo Vincent Ndlovu on April 21, 2002, in Hillbrow, Johannesburg. The name Vincent is his grandfather’s name. He has two younger siblings and grew up in Hillbrow.
Though, his parents come from Kwa-Zulu Natal’s south coast. As a precocious kid, he was a quick learner and knew how to be street-smart to avoid trouble.

After completing his primary school education, he proceeded to the National School of Arts. The Hillbrow Theatre helped him enroll at the NSA and paid his fees. Vinny developed a passion for TV presenting, acting, and performance in high school. He matriculated from NSA in 2020.
Uncle Vinny joined MTV Base’s Culture Squad as a VJ. It consists of the influential Tshego Koke, Nomalanga Shozi, and Farieda Metsileng.
As a teenager of 15, in grade 9, he worked as a radio presenter for Hillbrow FM. Vinny worked as a DJ on Hillbrow Radio Station, Hillbrow FM, as a student of NSA.
Vinny had his biggest break in 2021 after landing a gig as a VJ on MTV Base for the show Newsish. He is a familiar face for lighting up stages with his eccentric dances. Many don’t know that he is a party curator and MC.
On March 3, he received an invitation to the birthday celebration of Julius Malema. They dropped a few words of wisdom and danced.
