The community turns angry as rioters are arrested after failing to locate Nomeva. Mandla faces a moral dilemma after overhearing Martha’s secret about Kayise, but agrees to stay quiet.

The family continues to search for Nomeva, while Ngcuka reveals he has big plans for Nomeva. Mandla has another nose bleed and fainting spell, which indicates something is wrong.

Ngcuka prepares to have Leroy killed by Nomeva. When foul play is suspected, Phakathi takes fingerprints which turn out to be Nomeva’s. Mandla experiences pain and stiffness in his hands.

Nomeva is unable to kill Leroy, when she wakes up, she seems to be back to her old self. Nomeva and Leroy return and everyone is overjoyed, except for Caesar who wonders what they remember.

Jaxon and Caesar worry that Nomeva will remember they were involved in Sindi’s murder. Leroy fills Nomeva in about her time ‘away’. While Mandla’s arm is paralysed.

Nomeva resolves to find out who made her Umkhovu, and journeys to another realm, but is unable to unmask Ngcuka. And Philile asks a Songanga to help Mandla.

Nomeva’s world is disrupted by the realisation that Juba is missing and sets out to find him with Mpendulo. Consumed by desperation, Philile, resorts to clandestine measures.

Nomeva has a dream about Juba and and sets out to bring him home. Mandla wakes up and find his legs paralysed. And Sakhile has had enough of Mamiki in his home.
