Kaizer Chiefs will be hoping to record another win when they host Orlando Pirates on Saturday at FNB Stadium.

The Glamour Boys are coming from a midweek win over Cape Town Spurs while Pirates edged out Sekhukhune United.

GOAL takes a look at the players who are most likely to miss Saturday’s match.

The Glamour Boys are set to host the Buccaneers in what will be the biggest match on matchday 12 of the 2023/24 PSL sesason.

The Buccaneers captain has been battling fitness issues and that has seen him miss recent games.

He was last involved in competitive action in September and Tapelo Xoki has captained the team in Maela’s absence.

Pirates will be hoping Maela’s absence won’t be felt on Saturday.

Melusi Buthelesi has been Pirates’ number-one goalkeeper following an injury to Sipho Chaine.

Coach Jose Riveiro has other options in Richard Ofori and Siyabonga Mpontshane.

Riveiro has been preferring Deon Hotto as a left-back this season.

But the Namibian left-footer has not been at his attacking best while playing as a wing-back.

Mako has been struggling with fitness issues and that has given Hotto a chance.

Sithebe has been struggling with fitness issues but in his absence, Chiefs have enough cover in Edson Castillo and Yusuf Maart.

Interim coach Cavin Johnson even selected Samkelo Zwane on the bench in their last match against Cape Town Spurs.

The former Stellenbosch star has scored three times this season and he is currently nursing a long-term injury.

In his absence, Christian Saile Basomboli and Ranga Chivaviro have enjoyed some game time.
