On and off again — Vuyo Dabula thanks ‘Uzalo’ for apologising for faux pas
Things are seemingly hunky dory between actor Vuyo Dabula and Uzalo after they deleted an Instagram post about his character on the show.
The soapie said the actor was joining the cast, only to delete the post later.
Vuyo stars as the troublesome Bentley Majozi.
While expressing his disappointment in the move, the actor said he will keep going.
“They @uzalo_sabc1 seem to have removed that new character post … weird … but it’s all good. I come in peace as always, much love to the you king, chips are down, you’re all alone, battered and too many Ls, keep going soldier, misunderstood n hated for what, love yourself nonetheless no matter what. Bentley forever, Vuyo Dabula forever. You are forever king if you relate! Love you, that’s all you got w** keep walking. it is well you are so amazing,” he wrote.
On Thursday he headed to his Instagram timeline to clear the air.
“Bentley #bentleymajozi@sabc1_mzansifosho @uzalo_sabc1. We are here. I had an amicable conversation with @uzalo_sabc1 about the removal of the new character post, now the fact that they called me to assure me that there is no issue and offering an explanation says a lot about the spirit of this production. I am forever grateful that is a family move, you felt my pain and responded even in your position of power … that is not very common,” he wrote.
Stained Glass TV recently announced changes and additions for the upcoming season.
